SHERI WILLIAMS PANNELL

Sheri Williams Pannell is a native Milwaukeean and versatile artist whose passion for the arts has led her to perform, direct, teach, or write for a number of arts organizations including First Stage, Florentine Opera, InTandem, Milwaukee Chamber, Milwaukee Public Theater, Milwaukee Rep, Milwaukee Symphony, and Skylight Music Theatre. Beyond Milwaukee, Pannell has worked at Oregon Shakespeare, Utah’s Old Lyric Rep, University Opera Madison, University Theater at UW Madison, and Children’s Theater of Madison. She is producing artistic director and a founding member of Bronzeville Arts Ensemble. At Calvary Baptist Church, Pannell co-directs the drama ministry. In 2017, Pannell was honored as an Artist of the Year by the City of Milwaukee.
