Watch 2020 Cinderella for Schools

A STORY THAT’S MAGICAL IN EVERY LANGUAGE.

Many operas written for kids are delightful, but don’t relate to opera as its performed in a theater. Opera is the “more is more” art form, where we layer the greatest components of singing, instruments, theater, literature and stage craft together. This version of Cinderella includes music from Viardot, Massenet and Rossini and is performed in French, Italian and English. Don’t worry! You and your kids know the story already, and the dialogue serves as supertitles for kids (some of whom are too young to read). Immerse yourselves in this silly, giddy take on masterpieces woven together to delight the young at heart.

For the best experience, grab some popcorn and maximize the video.
