JUSTIN HOPKINS
Bass-Baritone Justin Hopkins has been featured in prestigious concert halls and theaters including Carnegie Hall, Symphony Hall Boston, Queen Elizabeth Hall London, and Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie Brussels. In the 2019-2020 season, he joins the ensemble at Opera Vlaanderen, and performs NARUMOV in Pikovaya Dama at La Monnaie in Brussels. In the 2018-2019 season, engagements include LORD KRISHNA in Antwerp and PARSI RUSTOMJI in his Satyagraha debut with Opera Vlaanderen,JOE in Show Boat at the Glimmerglass Festival, DALAND in Der Fliegende Hollander with Baltimore Concert Opera.
He sang GESSLER in Guillaume Tell and OROVESO in Norma with Opera Southwest, COLLINE in La Boheme with Opera San Antonio and Brahms Requiem with theLos Angeles Master Chorale at Walt Disney Hall.

A frequent performer of modern and contemporary works, Mr. Hopkins is a sought after interpreter of the works of Kurt Weill. In concerts, Mr. Hopkins appeared with the Boston Pops, Philly POPS, and the Grand Rapids Symphony Pops. He has performed War Requiem with the Dayton Philharmonic, Aaron Copland’s Old American Songs with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Mozart Requiem with the Dayton Philharmonic, Fantasia on Christmas Carols with the Boston Pops, Ellijah with the Choristers of Lansdale. He is the 2nd place winner of the 2012 Lotte Lenya Competition.
