Cinderella for schools: Digital Performance
A story that’s Magical in every language.
Special thanks to you, our dedicated audience, for supporting the art form that feeds our collective soul in times of need. This performance is for you!
Many opera written for kids are performed in English, and while delightful, don’t tie back to opera as its performed for adults. Opera is the “more is more” art form, where we layer the greatest components of singing, instruments, theater, literature and stage craft together. This version of Cinderella includes music from Viardot, Massenet and Rossini and is performed in French, Italian and English. Don’t worry! You and your kids know the story already, and the dialogue serves as supertitles for kids (some of whom are too young to read). Immerse yourselves in this silly, giddy take on masterpieces woven together to delight the young at heart.
